Cascade Mountain Tech 300 Lumen Pop-Up Lantern & Flashlight, Batteries Included – Orange, 7.8 oz

I got camping at least once a month so I tend to go through a lot of gear. I took this pop up light camping this past weekend. This light is versatile and easy to use. Just pop in the (included) batteries and turn it on. There are some really well thought out features on the light like the flash light and the moveable handle hooks. I found it really easy to change the handle from using it as a flashlight to using it as a lantern so that I could hang it over a table or place it on the ground. I have another camp light that I use often but this one is better because of the flashlight. While I really like this light I must note that it is really bright. When I was using it in my tent I would only pop it up a quarter of the way and I felt it was still very bright. Friends of mine even commented on how bright this little lantern was. The only thing that I didn't like was that when the lamp was packed in my backpack the handle would easily come off at one end however this did not impact the function of the light or the handle; it was just an annoyance to have to reattach the handle when I took it out. If I were car camping I wouldn't have had to worry about the handle. Maybe next time I'll just take the handle off and leave it at home (since it easily comes off). All in all I would recommend this flashlight/lantern. It was a great light for my most recent camping trip and hopefully more to come.

This lamp is really light so it's awesome for packing it for camping. It gives off a lot of light , you can use the lamp part or the top light as a torch. It can be compacted also for easier storage and travel. It's a handy device to have around the house for projects hat require some extra light or as an emergency light in case of a power outage etc. Its great that it takes AA batteries as these are easier to come by. It's a nifty lamp so I'm happy with the item and quality.
