Awesome Accessory!

This remote only enhances the user experience of the PS2, especially if it doubles as the DVD player for the TV it is connected to (like it does mine). It is easy to use and requires no set up at all (make sure you check the model number of your PS2 to make sure it matches for the remote otherwise, you may need an infrared adapter if you have an older model console or it may not function properly/at all with your console, depending on the model number. So DO YOUR HOMEWORK first before ordering the remote, then blaming it for not working!!) It also acts as a controller which is an added bonus. Overall, for the price and the value, this remote is definitely a must have!

I bought this item because my PS2 had shorted out and the power button wouldn't work on the unit. By using the remote control, I am able to turn on the system and I am now able to watch DVDs without holding on to the controller. The price was fabulous (much cheaper than bying a new video game system) and it even included batteries.
