Great set of Claves for a beginner.

Well made, nicely weighted. Smooth finish on the surface. Sound is as good as I'd expect for the cost and knowing they're not meant for a serious musician. I got it for my granddaughter, and hope I'll be able to teach her some rhythms. The tone isn't as rich sounding as a more expensive one, but the quality of the wood were better than I've seen in a pair made for young kids.
