Once fitted easy on/off...Could also be used as : (what l think to be the reason), people buy/use : "thunder coats" , for the : "hug like", to reduce anxiety_ fear some dogs get or have during storms/ some social situations. *Safety Note , l would also get a lighter,simpler 1 for long walk/hike! Warm%26hot weather, l would not find this 1 suitable as it is a heavier rugged vest. Be sure to check for any rubbing ,especially in front elbow area.THIS VEST RUNS TRUE TO SIZE!! I had gotten 2 others than ran much smaller than the measurements listed. ...l might have got this a bit bigger than best fit, but wiill likely grow into a better fit by cool weather. No worries! ☺

Maybe permanently stitched would be better. Overall, well-crafted. She hasn't figured out yet how to slip out of it.
