  • 3 1/2" Strips: Cut 7 1/2" wide strips across the width of fabric to cut two, 3 1/2" strips. Position fabric on die so fold of fabric is perpendicular to cutting blades and will roll through the cutter first. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 9 strips. 
  • 3 1/2" Squares: Start with a 3 1/2" strip aligning it across the die board with the 90° guide line. Fanfold into 7 1/2" widths. Cut 10, 3 1/2" squares across the width of fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric cuts 90 squares. 
  • 45° Diamond-5" Cut Side Edge: Start with a 3 1/2" strip. Align your 3 1/2" strip across the die board to the right side of the 45° guide line. 
  • 30° Diamond-7" Cut Side Edge: Start with a 3 1/2" strip. Align your 3 1/2" strip across the die board to the right side of the 30° guide line. 
  • 60° Diamond-4 1/8" Cut Side Edge: Start with a 3 1/2" strip. Align your 3 1/2" strip across the die board to the right side of the 60° guide line.

Accuquilt GO! 4.5" Cutter (Die) Excellent Quality!

As with almost every thing I've gotten from Accuquilt GO! it is exactly what it is supposed to be. The cutter is a 4" cutter that actually is 4.5". The extra half inch provides the sewing quarter of an inch all the way around the entire strip. The "Die's" are well made, easy to handle and the blades are useful. This is a fast way to cut quilting fabric. I highly recommend them. Walmart delivered in a timely manner and there was no damage.

Yes, it works and saves you time. Unless your favorite part of quilting is cutting out fabric (yeah, right...that's none of us), this is a dream come true. Makes great jelly rolls or binding strips.
