Prince Edward Island Dreams On Love's Gentle Shore, Book 3, (Paperback)

This story was so much fun to read. I loved visiting the Red Door Inn and seeing all the characters again. On Loves Gentle Shore is the third book in the Prince Edward Island Dreams series. I was blessed to read the first two, but don't feel that you have to read all three in order to love this one. That being said, you really don't want to miss out on getting to know the fun and interesting residents of PEI. This book follows Natalie as she returns to the island she grew up on. Now matter how much she tries to avoid it, chances are she's going to run headfirst into some of her past. Natalie had anything but an easy childhood. One of the only bright spots was her best friend Justin. Sadly when she left to go to Nashville he didn't follow. When they both were broken hearted the only thing to do was try to move on. Natalie met Russell and when they decided to get married, he thought she would love for the wedding to take place in her home town. Little does he know, that's the last thing she would have planned. Facing the past isn't easy, but often the best life God has for us takes some work. Can Natalie and Justin let go of their old hurts and embrace what the future has for them? Johnson touched on some heavy subjects in this book. Most people don't have the perfect childhood, but that doesn't need to define them. Finding freedom in being your true self and following God is the best way to live life. I enjoyed seeing the characters grow and learn to forgive. I encourage you to read this book if you like second chances and realizing sometimes true love is right in front of you. I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
