Works great for small surface stains
This stuff is amazing. It is the only thing I have ever seen successfully get dried acrylic paint out of cloth. Granted if the paint is ground in deep or if there is a lot of it (more than a few light smudges or superficial drops) then you are most likely out of luck. This did get small smears off a sweatshirt I thought my daughter ruined. I sprayed it on, blotted lightly, scraped with my fingernails, and scrubbed while rinsing under the sink. Then I repeated the process and ran it through the wash. All the paint came out.
