My dog, Bomber, is pretty tough on his toys. He already had a bunch of favorites. However, when I pulled this one out and showed it to him he went nuts, it was an instant favorite. Bomber is a Catahoula hunting dog. We got him as a five month old from the Humane Society. He was given up by a farmer because, well, he apparently loves "fresh" chicken. The duck toy looks like a duck that had been hunted. It flops around like the real thing. He has had it for six weeks now and it is still his favorite toy. I'm probably going to buy a couple more so I will have them when this one finally gives out. The toy seems to be tougher than the ordinary toys of this type. Bomber usually has his toys shredded in two weeks max.

My dogs are moderate chewers. My little dog likes to tear the squeakers out of most stuffed toys I have bought them. These were really good priced so I decided to give it a shot. I got two, one for each dog. They have been used in tug of wars and other rough play. They have been through the washing machine 2 times already. So far they have held up well and the dogs love them!

Nice toy but no choice in which bird you get

The name said duck so I was really hoping we would get a duck for a litter of retrievers but we got a pheasant. The puppies didn't care but I also wanted the toy for photos with the puppies. I think a choice of which bird you want should be offered.
