ZANZEA Ladies Wide Legs Long Pants Elastic Waist Solid Trousers

I'm 5'7", 195 lbs and wear size 18 pants, so I purchased black in 5X, based on the size chart. These Zanzea wide-leg trousers look much better in the photo than in reality. I will say they are more than large enough--very loose fitting--which is what I wanted. However, the fabric is super thin, reminds me of the cheapest possible old cotton sheets, and the legs are wide enough to fit 4-5 calves of my size; they're also 3-4 inches too long! I figured that at this price, the pants would be nothing special. The construction isn't faulty; however, there's not much in terms of structure to recommend them. Fortunately, I sew a bit, so I can remake the pants as I suspected might be the case. I plan to taper the legs and take in both sides for a better fitting pant. If they don't fall apart, the thin fabric is fine for summer. These pants are not the best, so I'm not going to buy a second pair, however, because I don't want to re-make another one.
