I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY GRANDSON FOR CHRISTMAS. I THOUGHT THIS WAS AN EXCELLENT BUY. HOWEVER, I DID PURCHASE THE SOUND PUZZLES OF THE ALPHABET AND NUMBERS DIRECTLY FROM MELISSA AND DOUG. HE WILL USE THE SOUND PUZZLES FOR STAGE 1 AND THEN WHEN HE'S PROGRESSED TO THE SECOND STAGE HE WILL USE THE PUZZLES WITHOUT THE SOUND .
