If you got an iPad, you should get one of these.
My husband is very heavy handed. He received an iPad Air for Christmas. It was so fragile he was afraid to handle it. I purchased this case for the iPad and now he takes it everywhere. It is very durable, can take a lot of tossing around. Every opening has a protective cover over it. The covers are easy to open and remain attached to the case, so no fear of losing them. The touch screen still remains very responive even with the protective sheet over it. It's easy to grip from all sides. All in all it was worth the money!
