Monitor speakers

I wanted a monitor with speakers so I could get the external speakers off my desk. The monitor is fine, but the sound quality of the speakers is absolutely awful. I went back to using my old, cheap external speakers. The sound quality of my android tablets, my 5 year old cell phone and my 10 year old wireless home phone is far better.
