Only had the cord for a couple weeks. So far, so good. Don't know if it charges any faster, really doesn't matter to me. It works for a good price. One thing I will say definitively is that this cord has the tightest connection from cord to phone that I have ever encountered. It will not easily get disconnected. You really have to give it a good pull to disengage. If that's a criteria for you, then this is your cord. How long it lasts? To be determined. Thumbs up.
