I'm using this camera as a part time "bed camera" in my truck to help with hitching up my gooseneck trailer. So I wired a 12V plug to the camera so it could be powered without connecting to the lights, and attach it with velcro so it can be removed when not in use. The instructions were a little cryptic on the wiring connections. The diagram helped, but would have been better if it was in color. But it has a nice, clear picture and with the wired connection, no flickers or drop outs. With the large screen, it is easy to see the ball for the trailer and will really help with hitching.
