CARE
Rinse or wash the can well by hand; do not put in the dishwasher. For best results, do not wash the filter. Each filter should last 3-6 months depending on usage.

USAGE TIPS
Empty regularly for best results [2-3 times per week]. Rinse with your water hose when you empty it.
When you buy replacement charcoal filters, it is better to choose a bigger size and cut to desired diameter than to buy a too small size.
You can also help control fruit flies by keeping a sprinkle jar of diatomaceous earth and sprinkle it in your compost bucket after washing. The filter and lid will help prevent these fruit flies from getting out into your kitchen.
