Mediocre Quality

Background: Bought this bench beginning of June. Current date is mid-October. Bench has been outdoors for 4 months mostly under the patio cover in very mild weather conditions. In this short time significant rust has developed at welded seams (see photos). Also, it appears that some kind of clear coat that may have been used during manufacturing is already starting to peel away. Kind of like the embarrassing, splotchy, weathered clear coat finish you commonly see on green 2002 Toyota trucks. Just saying. 😳 Anyway, this bench is for all practical purposes almost new. It has barely been used. It should not degrade this quickly. Bottom line: Poor quality for the price. I expect better. I would not buy it again.
