Hundreds: An Experiment in Bound Poetics (Paperback)

At its foundation, Hundreds is a collection of 100 hundred-word poems. Each poem is written on the subject of or as a tangent on an object, an idea, a memory, or a sensation. Each is fundamentally bound by the rule of word count the author has rigidly followed. This collection is an experiment in how poetical expression is limited by the bounds of rules and language. It remains to be seen just how it is limited and transformed by Massey's work.
