I needed some longer hoses beyond what is typically stocked. This was easy enough to cut the lengths I needed and seems like it should hold up better as well. It is worth noting that the ID of the hose is slightly bigger that the 1.5" indicated. The hose is typical sched 40 dimensions. I had some barbed fittings that were too small. You'll need to make sure the connector is big enough to seat tight in the hose ID that is closer to 1.6" Using 2 hose clamps seems to hold tight an no issues with leaking.
