Grumbacher has great body and coverage

Grumbacher gesso is a thicker gesso than most and provides much better coverage than the more liquid offerings by others. I wouldn't use anything else.

The product was not packaged with bubble wrap. It must have gotten dropped in shipping because when I received it, the lid was cracked and paint had seeped out into the box. Otherwise the product itself is satisfactory.
