Love these Farberware CERAMIC knives. They are sharp (BE CAREFUL) and they will slice very nicely. I ended up purchasing several sizes and love them. Caution: Do not drop these on the tile floor. They will break. Well made and sturdy. But just like dropping a plate on the floor, it may not break immediately, but ceramic will break. But I love these knives
