This knife came razor sharp. I've only used it to slice a few things such as oranges, tomatoes, and the plastic wrap that a lot of meets come sealed in. Its like the knife didn't even know there was anything there. How it holds up long term remains to be seen, but for the price you get a nice little cutter. Note that this is not intended for heavy duty cutting, just veggies, fruits and similar things you probably cut every day.
