This adhesive chalkboard roll was rather simple to apply, altho I did have to push a few bubbles out with a card . Once up, it's stayed nice even with my 4yr old writing and drawing on it at least once a day, and erasing many, many times. It's great for her, and I cut a couple of small pieces for my own use, too! We used this to cover an RV refrigerator door. It worked well. The backing paper allows for easy installation, done gradually to prevent air bubbles and wrinkles. One suggestion would be to have a continuous printed grid on the backing paper to aid in cutting down to size along it's length.
