This is the 4th or 5th one of these we have purchased. Did they pop? Yes. Was it a defect in the product? No. Our kids beat the heck out of this toy, but they LOVE LOVE LOVE it. That's why we keep replacing it. (if I were better at patching, I might only be on the 2nd or 3rd). We call this product the "Hyper Zone." Our girls are 3 years old and almost 8 years old. Our first hyper zone was when our first daughter was just 4. Went through 2 of these before the 2nd child came along. When she was a little over a year old and the other daughter was 6 we got another one and they loved playing in it together. Throw them in this thing and they really burn off energy! Our girls like to turn it upside down and use it as a fort, too. The older daughter once spent weeks sleeping in it like on an air mattress. They've turned it sideways and rolled down our hills in this thing (no, I don't recommend that). One of these days they're gonna figure out it would make an awesome raft in the pool (no, I don't recommend that, either). It's endless fun. It's pretty durable when used as a bouncer - not too flimsy, and the sides really help keep smaller kids inside. We've never had one pop from jumping or bouncing. It was always someone doing something dumb like the kid that jumped in it with a pen in his pocket and punctured it. My tips: to keep it lasting longer, keep it indoors, or on really soft grass. Our yard is wooded so there are sticks and rocks - not a great match for anything inflatable. Even though it takes up almost our entire family room, we just keep it in there and when the kids are acting up or are full of energy we jokingly "punish" them by sending them to the hyper zone. Best toy ever. Don't leave it outside in the rain. Water can collect in the channel between the side walls and the bottom inflatable part, and it's hard to clean in there. If you have to store it outside, turn it upside down. It's not going to stay put in any kind of wind... so really best to park it indoors if you can. My last tip: buy 2. or 3. Doesn't matter if it pops in a month or a year, your kids will be crushed when it happens. There was a year or so that I could not buy this item ANYWHERE, I thought it was discontinued and we were so disappointed!

This is the greatest, the only issue is if your kids/grandkids discover where the opening is to blow it up. They will deflate it. Overall my grandkids love it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
