When lives are on the line, this gear comes through!As a citizen volunteer for Search and Rescue, we're trained to "get the right gear." As Campmaster and Scout leader working with teenagers, what we do is more important than what we say. The Ergodyne Glo-Wear 4-in-1 is a full tool set of fowl-weather gear for 90% of the weather conditions: rainy, chilly, brisk, "too-darned-cold and wet why-are-we-here" weather. This jacket is loaded with options. I have been wearing this jacket during a rain storm, small hail and even some freezing fog. It has proven to be a formidable opponent against the elelments. It has the standard weatherproof shell put it also has a really comfortable, liner that doubles as an insulated hi-vis vest. There are tons of pockets for me to keep gloves, pens, hand warmers, and all the random stuff you need throughout a tenacious day. The jacket also seems to be slightly oversized and has lots of room to move. I have worn other Hi-Vis jackets but I can say that no other brand matches the quality and options you get with the Ergodyne GloWear jacket [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The jacket is awesome. First off the jacket takes the place of a vest, raincoat, and winter jacket all in one. I work in Chicago and the weather changes by the minute and this jacket is perfect for that. The waterproofing is absolutely essential as is the high visibility. The jacket is roomy enough for a sweatshirt and thermal to layer underneath and very warm for it's light weight. If you work outdoors I highly recommend this jacket for it's all around uses and comfort. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
