Comfy and accommodating

Okay. I had been eyeing these shoes for a few months. I really like the styling. Unfortunately, I wear a 13W and this shoe is on available in medium widths... I spoke with a Fit Specialist at DXL. It's kinda neat to speak to a salesperson who actually works at a store. Well, I asked the rep if the saying was true: "offering a size up gives you more width". She replied that it can be the case. So, I decided to take a chance and man was I happy. The 14 fit really good although I probably have an extra inch of length. I'm actually wondering if I can comfortably get into a 13M with this shoe. The leather and soles are nice. The inside of the shoe is luxurious. Shoes were packed well. The plastic sticks to the soles. One of my shoes had a couple of spots that were easily rubbed off.
