An 8 year old's dream bike...

At this age ... this is what he wanted. Something with gears that looks cool. The bike is very solid and well made. He has no trobles riding it. He went from his small bike that had his training wheels removed to this upgrade. He has only had it for a week; however, it has been a hit. The shocks in front and back are great for those uneven neighborhood sidewalks. The only negative - if you call it one - is that it's heavy. But it's nothing my son notices. He just thinks it's cool. And another bonus this bike was $68 less than the amazon price!!!!!

Great Bike

In my search for a 20" bike, I have noticed that the options are either crazy expensive at a bike shop, or super cheapo/fall apart types. Further, most seem to be BMX bikes and it's seems harder to actually find just a regular bike in a moderate price range. Finally, this fit our needs. My son loves the color, the graphics, the seven gears. (Note: There are seven gears; the product specs said it's a single speed bike). I love that it has quality parts and was offered at a reasonable price. Have used it every day since purchase, and it's making us happy.

Terrific Junior Mountain Bike

"Santa" bought this for my 7yr old son. He's tall for his age and this bike fits him perfectly. The bike is definitely well-constructed, it is a bit heavy but a lot of that is simply due to the quality construction. I can say from experience, there's not many multi-gear junior mountain bikes out there - and most are over $200 when you do find them at bike shops. I looked at many of them and can't say there's much difference between this and the more expensive bikes (all seem to use Shimano gears, etc).
