Birthday present for daughter who loves pandas
I painted tray with Tuscan red paint. I applied panda sticker and then applied 3 coats of satin polyurethane. As I added clear coat the wood grain kept coming through the red paint. No idea why but it gives it a distressed look and everyone loves it. I looked up Chinese symbols for the word happy birthday and my daughter's name and put on the outside bottom edge. On the top outside I put the word Panda. I hope she likes it. She has lots of panda stuff coming for her 50th birthday in July. I am having a ball coming up with ideas. Very nice tray. A nice size and you can do anything to it. Just see where your imagination takes you. I recommend this for quality and price.
