Casts a mile

Just finished a three day trip for bass. It was windy the whole time and the only thing the Bass were hitting was a 11F Rapala. I had the Shimano Saros 2500FA on a 7' medium light action rod with 8lb P-Line Floroclear. I made many long line drive casts into the wind with no twists or hang ups. Very smooth retrieve, it's a great reel!

Nice smooth reel

Impressed with this reel. High quality for the price. Not at the same level as my Stradic but that is to be expected. Just back from a weekend in the BWCA and week in NW Ontario where it performed flawlessly. I have it paired with a 7 Ft. ML St. Croix Avid and balance is great. Only downside is that it doens't come with a second spool.
