Very versatile beyond a spatter guard- it's a great stove-side hot pad and can kill spatters in the oven too. Wish the handle was a little thicker but that's just me. Easy to clean. Very happy and good value.

Great silicone splatter shield!

I've never had a silicone splatter screen before, only metal, and I definitely love this one more than any I've used in the past. It stays cool to the touch, unlike metal ones that get extremely hot extremely quickly, and it's also much easier to clean, and no chance of rust! It's also a great size, I haven't found a skillet or pot yet that it wouldn't fit!

A lot less lot splatter than wire mesh

I was a bit leery of the holes but after several uses I have found this to be superior to the wire screen type!!! I've been frying items on med-high heat (gas burners) in a heavy cast iron skillet one inch smaller diameter than the silicone shield with NO damage to the silicone... I kept careful watch the first few times fearful of it melting or catching fire, no issues. Good steam release with very little grease getting through, I highly recommend this product!!!
