This is not a happy movie by any means. Bette Midler is perfection in how she portrays her character. By the time the movie is partway through, you are pretty sad and depressed. I have loved this movie since I saw it the first time years ago and seeing it again was just as good.

Old classic rock movie that is somewhat difficult to find. Found it on Wal Mart web site with no problem. My niece had never seen it (she is 16) and she loved it.
