Good fan for a room

I had a older version of this fan (same manufacturer, name). The older one was all metal, including the cage. It was about 15 years old when it finally died. The cage on this one is plastic. It does a good job of circulating the air but does not seem to be as powerful as the older one. I am happy with it and would buy it again. I guess the real test will be how long it lasts.

This fan replaced an older patton that had a bearing going out.it is lighter and I am happy that it moves about the same amount of air as the old one and it is not as loud.
