The rain barrel came with helpful instructions to make the assembly easy. The day after I set the barrel in place, we had a heavy storm, which filled the barrel and made it possible to have the extra water I want fory new garden. it makes me happy seeing it every day knowing that I've got a water surplus on hand.

Wish I Bought Two!

Great purchase. I set it up on a 10x12 structure and after one hard rain, it was full. The overfill valve on top took care of excess. The flat back allows it to fit flush. The valve is easy to install if you lay the barrel down flat (as instructions indicate). I purchased the stand, too, and recommended that for a nicer look than cinderblocks.
