Great for cutting thin sheet metal

I've utilized the sawmax's metal cut-off wheel to cut down my workload on site trips by easily 3 hours. It is able to chew through 10 ga sheet steel like it was butter. I'd recommend ear and eye protection as it makes a ton of noise, and long sleeves as it will cake you in debris. Its counter-intuitive in that you need to keep the feed rate low when working with tougher metals, but there is absolutely no arguing with the results.

Great blade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great in tight spots to cut metal. Let the blade do the work.

Perfect for wood - not for metal!

used it for wood only until today. the metal blade works good - bot not for long! Since these blades are not cheap to begin with, it's a real bummer that you have to replace them after just cutting one pipe. what's up with the expiration date on the blades?

reply from Service

We are sorry if the blade is not meeting expectations. The expiration date exists because the blade is bonded - and it should not be used after that date. We will contact you to see if we can provide some additional assistance.
