Sony PlayStation 3 - Assassin's Creed III Bundle - game console - Full HD, Full HD, HD, 480p, 480i - 500 GB HDD - charcoal black - Assassin's Creed III

I needed a new ps3 because my old 80GB were pretty much out of memory. And I wanted the new assassin creed 3 too but then i saw this bundle and saw it was a 500Gb ps3 which included the new AC3 so i got it. The new ps3 is a lot smaller and slimmer than the previous two version and is a lot quieter in my opinion. From what i heard they apparantly fix some of the problems that cause the previous version to overheat. To insert a disc now there is a sliding tray at the very top of the ps3. It DOESN'T come with an HDMI cable or the stand as display in the picture though so you have to buy that seperately. Just have to read the description on the page or on the box before purchasing. The Assassin Creed 3 game is a really amazing game. Gameplay, Graphic and Story is just amazing in this game. BUT there are a lot of glitches in this game so far and I hope Ubisoft would patch this up soon. I haven't use the PS3 plus trial yet, I don't really care too much about that personally. So in the end, yeah I would recommend this to anyone who thinking about getting a PS3. The 500GB is hard to beat if you plan to play a lot of games or put pictures or whatever on your system. Assassin Creed is an amazing game thats also come with it. I Personally think this is a bargain but everyone is different. I hope this review be helpful to some.

Great bundle on a great system and a fantastic game. (**Note** I would not recommend this game for children. It has a lot of violence, harsh language, and adult themes. So far there hasn't been any sexual content to speak of, but I still play this game after my kids are in bed. Also, the plot and game play start very slow, but hang in there, it gets great!) The new design of the PS3 seems very sleek and minimal, definitely seems like less components that have the possibility of breaking. I had the 320GB system for almost a year and had to return it on a warranty issue, purchased this one in its place, so I have a good basis for comparison. To be completely honest, this design is SLIGHTLY noisier when cycling up a disc and running, but not loud enough to matter. I only noticed when I turned it on before the T.V once. Also Sony has completely redesigned the Disc Tray so it is now a "Spring operated" sliding door style on the top of the unit. Initially seemed a little skimpy to me but in retrospect, it just means less mechanical parts to malfunction. I am very pleased wit this Product and would recommend it to anyone. With Netflix and Amazon Prime apps that can be utilized on this system, my family has completely negated the need for cable and thus, we have shaved our monthly entertainment bill by a large margin. I believe Hulu Plus also can be run through this system. The system is full customizable and also serves as a great way to turn our flat screen into a digital picture frame that cycle pictures of our family when not in use. It transfers and stores digital media from our phones and computers with ease over our household network, and quickly turned from "just a daddy toy" into a whole family media center. **Note*** It does NOT come with the pictured vertical stand and unlike previous models it does not seem at all steady without it. Out of the box its sits like a normal DVD player and furthermore; with its disc loading method, I don't think standing it on its side would prove very practical. Hope this review is helpful!
