VERY Handy

I have used the Figure 9 Rope Tightener for years. I have them in the trunk or back of all our SUVs (3). No more tedious knot tying. Now I can quickly secure propane tanks in the trunk, kayaks and ladders on the roof rack with ease. I have NEVER had a slip from a Figure 9 and that includes highway travel at 65 mph. My Son-in-Law borrowed a vehicle and found one in the back and now I am putting a variety of them in his Christmas stocking. He will use them camping - securing the tent ropes and such.
