Hammerite Rust Cap Indoor and Outdoor Hammered Dark Green Alkyd-Based Metal Paint 1 qt

Too bad Hammerite decided to end production of this entire line. Rustoleum still offers some of the colors that Hammerite offered, including "dark green", but who knows for how long and I always preferred this brand though I can't say its actually better. This paint dries to touch very quickly but takes 1-2 weeks to fully cure. Once you discover how to keep introducing small amounts of thinner, xylene or special painter thinners usually work, as you brush and roller this to keep it flowing, you have a super easy and super tough paint. Heck, I come back over something I painted a year ago because I want to change the color and I could clean, sand, clean and paint. Ehhh, I just put the paint on with a brush and swoosh it enough to catch up the dirt I didn't even dust off so it can be caught up in the paint and cure in it. No sanding, cleaning or anything and 1 year later looks as good as ever. Really incredible paint. Only a two part paint can match and surpass this for toughness. Nothing I know of can match its versatility or ease of use, at least with brush and roller. No other oil based one part paint can be used and abused like this stuff and still be wearing like iron years later.
