Horrible customer service

If I could give this experience less than 1 star I would. The item arrived broken and now Walmart says it is incumbent upon me to return it to a FEDEX facility that is more than 20 miles away from my delivery location. i explained to customer service that this went to a rental property and I live more than 300 miles away and cannot return the item. I was told I would be given a refund but now I find that was most likely a lie. I have included a picture and you can see that the mechanism is broken. I will not be making any more purchases from Walmart.
