So happy. I had a non-tiered umbrella on my desk and it would practically jump the deck rail with the slightest breeze. A tiered umbrella doesn't let the wind affect it so much because the wind comes out between tiers, but doesn't compromise on shade. Super happy.

NOT a Mary Poppins umbrella

This is just a great umbrella and the second one I have purchased from Alpha...love the 10' span and what a difference the three tiers make!!! We live on a windy lake in Wi and have not had any problems with this flying away. The ribs are all thick metal so this is very substantial yet I am 79 and still can put it in place by myself.
