30 - Inch Wooden Window Boxes for Planting and Gardening - New Age Pet & Garden

Came in along flat box which required assembly. Pieces fit together well & tools were not needed, just strong fingers to push the 4 pins & anchor pieces in. Directions suggest staining is not best choice but using primer & 2 top coats of exterior paint should work well. Box looks fairly woodish, not like plastic. I'll probably leave it as it. Nice & deep to hold lots of plants & water drain holes underneath to help the roots.

I purchased 3 of these window boxes for the front of my home(2)36" & (1)30". I shopped all of the box stores and online for a window box that wasn't too heavy, could be painted, and wasn't wood. This was by far the best price, but I was skeptical. I have to say that I am extremely happy with these. I painted them with bronze spray paint and they look great. My husband made metal brackets and we painted those to match. At first I was concerned that they needed to be taller, but "spiller" plants hung over the front and hid most of the window box anyway. They have added more character to the front of our home and I have gotten many compliments. For the season changes, I purchased smaller sized cheap window boxes to place inside. I fill these with fall floral then pull and store. When it's time for Christmas greens I place them in a different cheap window box. We have room to store these and it saves a ton of time. ( I do plant the summer flowers directly in the window boxes.) Great product, extremely satisfied with quality and price.
