these boots are pretty comfortable! especially when working in the cold! they give my feet some extra support! if you get some road salt on them, i found if you let them dry out, put crumpled up newspapers in them to dry them out and help retain their shape, use a tablespoon of white vinegar to one cup lukewarm water and use a sponge to daub the areas that have salt, you can just leave them the way they are if you are not fussy.

The design has changed and the EWW is no longer valid for the new design. I purchased a pair two years ago. They were the most comfortable pair I've purchased since my last $170 hiking boots. The boots have been my primary and almost exclusive footwear. I wear them for work on a woodshop concrete floor eight hours daily. They are also my gardening/camping/casual wear shoe. They have kept my feet warm and dry in the rain and snow. I added cushioning in the bottom after the original cushioning flattened from wear eight months ago. Waterproofing finally gave out on the toe area this summer. I went to Wal-Mart to purchase another extra pair and discovered the design in the toe had been changed from round to more oval. This design doesn't work if you have feet like a duck. Photo: L boot and middle boot are both 7 1/2 EWW. Notice the change. It makes a huge difference for us short, wide footed people. R boot is the old design size 9 EWW. Brahma. Please give us back our original design.
