I have been buying this particular Dap sealant for probably the last 15-years, it's that good! Mainly I use it for sealing (caulking) around the top edge of the bathtub where the tile meets the tub. It remains clear and completely waterproof. Once it is dry, I can use a cloth towel to dry it off and it keeps its shape. I've used this sealant to plug holes in exterior wood trim on my house, to glue the sole back on my shoe. I've used it as a caulk around the exterior of my windows as well. It sets up relatively quickly, so you don't want to do too large of area all at once, otherwise It will not look that good.%26 will not smooth out very well. This sealant is a very good product. Kind of pricey for the size of the tube but well worth it.

Perfectly Safe For Fish!

My indoor pond had a leak just as my new little guys were about to arrive. I ordered this online and received within a couple of days. I placed a thick ribbon inside and outside of my indoor pond where the leak was and waited until it cured. Once it cured and there was no smell, it became a strong rubber polymer that was secure and leak proof. I filled the pond with water and it's absolutely perfect. Little guys arrived the day I filled the pond. No leaks! It's perfect. No effect on fish. The initial smell is strong; so, if you're using it for live creatures, like I did, definitely wait until it has completely cured because it will kill them in its wet form. Wait until it has cured! I highly recommend this! I would absolutely buy it again if I ever need it!
