Great Gift

Great gift. Bought as a Christmas gift for my daughter, kept her busy during a long, cold winter day. Very good for helping build small motor skills.

Super fun!

Super fun project! I opted to do the wreath with just the bow as one piece, and not do the extra ornaments stuck on with the holes. I wanted to do the ornaments but I melted the pegboard when I ironed the wreath. I am buying it again and I will do a few things differently next time. 1. I am going to make the ornaments first. This way I can get my ironing technique down better. Again I will probably skip the holes in the middle to stick onto the wreath, but I will add loops to the tops of them so they can be hung on the tree. 2. When I do the wreath, I will begin by filling in all of the browns, dark greens and reds, then fill in the light and medium greens at random. There's no point in following the pattern for the lighter two greens. Also there are two different reds that are extremely similar before they are ironed but you can really tell them apart after you iron it. It does make a difference in the contouring of the bow to pay attention to the light and dark red. I'm going to fill in the whole wreath, but I'm going to leave the holes for the very last so that they can be used to straighten the pattern. 3. I ironed the pegboard on top of the dryer which was flat but maybe had a little bit of give. Next time I will do it on the concrete floor of the garage. That will keep it flat and hopefully not warp the board. I also made the mistake of lifting up the paper to check how it was doing and half of the beads came up with the paper. Also I over ironed it and some of it was super melted. I will also be sure to put something heavy and flat on it while it cools so it doesn't curl up. I hope I have better results next time but even if I don't it's still fun! If you are a crafter, you will enjoy this!
