Aunt Lydia's Classic Crochet Thread Size 10-Maize

I find this thread to be superior to other similar threads from the past (including J&P Coats Knit Cro Sheen) as it is smoother/silkier and has a bit more stretch to it. It seems also to split less when working with it. One issue seems that different colors seem to have slightly different thickness for reasons I do not understand, resulting in finished products that are of varying sizes, though this usually is not an issue. Something to keep in mind is that dye lots do vary, and it is important to buy enough of a particular dye lot when you first make your purchase so that you won't have to buy more later, which might not match. Yarnspirations is NOT good with this. They do not guarantee that all of the spools of any particular color you order will be from the same dye lot.

I'm making a table runner with all the different colors and I couldn't be more pleased at how it looks. All the colors are fantastic! The thread doesn't split and has a great sheen to it. I'll definitely be back for more.
