These air filters are superior in quality and function, I even use the highest filtration level as a top notch replacement for hepa filtration in appliances and air filters at my business for decades now. One will easily be able to discern the difference in air quality when in use in just a few minutes. One can even make an inexpensive quality air cleaner with an ordinary household fan and and air filter simply taped to it as is demonstrated by a Professor at the University of Michigan on you tube. For the past 15 years I have gone out of my way to make sure the air I breathed was clean so I have used Filtrete 1500 or above Air Filters and changed them every month. Your suppose to change them every 3 months but in Phoenix Arizona one month's dirt is enough for me. I have experimented with a few different brands of air filters but those always seemed to not get black after a months use like the Filtrete do or for a couple of them even get a little grey.
