Pleasantly Surprised

I don't usually leave reviews because most don't deserve it. I order things now with very little hope I'll get exactly what I ordered if we even get out stuff at all anymore. I had to FIX the original dash.

But I had to fix the original dash that held the 19 oz. speaker that caused the original cracking problem by supporting it underneath with closed cell foam then shifting the 2 screws (they should have used all 4 screw hole supports) to the other corners. After 36 years of environmental testing at NASA Ames and over 6000 vibes on a 5 Klbf vibe table I have seen my share of structural failure from poor design. The cover dash you provided looks very nice BUT would not support the 19 oz speaker and I chose not to throw it in the trash.

2011 CHEVY TAHOE DASH COVER IS LIGHTWEIGHT AFFORDABLE EASY TO INSTALL LOOKS GREAT..SITS FLUSH YOU REALLY CAN'T EVEN TELL UNLESS YOU KNOW.

HONESTLY I WAS A TAD BIT SKEPTICAL AS HOW IT WAS GOING TO LOOK WHEN FINISHED PUTTING IT IN/ON JUST REALLY NOT THINKING IT WOULD LOOK AS NICE AS IT DOES! I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THE COST AND THE EASY INSTALLATION. IT IS LIGHT WEIGHT BUT NOT FLIMSY. DOES NOT LOOK CHEAP. SITS FLUSH ON TOP OF THE CRACKED ONE. REALLY IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS A COVER THERE I PERSONALLY WOULD NOT THINK ANYTHING OF IT. BETWEEN THE COST EASY INSTALLATION AND THE END RESULT THIS IS DEFINITELY MY NEW GO TO FOR DAMAGED DASHES AS WE ARE A BUY HERE PAY HERE LOT AND IT ALL JUST MAKES SENSE. SAVES TIME AND A LOT OF MONEY. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
