Combine 9.5 oz (270g) Grace Johnny Cake Mix with 2/3 cup milk. Add a little milk at a time until a firm dough is formed. (Set aside a small amount of the dry mix for use during hand kneading). 2. Add more milk as necessary. 3. Divide dough into 16 balls, approx. 1-1/2 tbsp each. 4. Knead each one with floured hands for a few minutes. 5. Press gently with palm of hands and flatten to 3 inch rounds. 6. Fry in oil. Drain and serve hot. Yields 16, 3 inch Johnny Cakes.
