My granddaughter loves these dolls, even at 21 yrs. I thought she was old enough, so I stopped buying for her--let me tell you she was not happy. I went on line and found her the 2011 Barbie Holiday Doll, and I do have black beauty in red for 2012. I guess she will be on my list for now on...no matter how old.
