Corduroy Takes a Bow (Hardcover)

My kids and I have been huge fans of Corduroy for many years. We have lots of good memories of reading the books over and over again. We loved seeing Corduroy hiding under the blankets in the bed in the department store and we were so excited when he finally found a home with a sweet girl who truly loved him! It warms my heart that the story of being loved seems to now be continuing with acclaimed actress Viola Davis as the author. In this charming book, Corduroy and Lisa go to a theater to see a stage production (something Davis would know a lot about). Corduroy looks for a better vantage point to watch the play and winds up in unexpected places. It's a charming book with illustrations based on those from the classic. The book is very well bound and printed at what seems to be the highest quality, as well.
