I don't know who thought of this, but this push button dispenser is absolutely genius! Your pressure on the plunger is what causes more or less to be released. Regardless whether you use it for flour, sugar, or seasonings it works great!

If you have restrictions on sodium stay clear of this salt dispenser. I needed one to regulate salt intake and it was a simple device to purchase. It is a nice looking device and I was happy to fill it up and test it out. I positioned it over a dinner plate and pushed the button and boom I was shocked at how dangerous this thing is. It blasted enough salt to cover the entire plate with one click. It is not safe. If you worry about sodium intake run away from this device. It could harm you.
