I had it put together, too high for me. I had a handyperson trim off 1" and it worked fine. Got some rubber pads for the bottom,, so it wouldn't slip away.

Exactly what I wanted

I have an island and it matches the top perfectly. Seat is very comfortable. Just needs little pads for the feet so it doesn't scratch the floor. Very sturdy.
